🔧 How to Use / Works

1. Unbox and Inspect
Carefully remove the ZAPTRA unit from the packaging. Ensure all components are present and undamaged, including the solar insect eliminator and optional ground spike or hanger.

2. Choose Your Location
Select a spot that receives direct sunlight during the day—ideally near areas where insects are most active (e.g., patio, garden table, deck, or outdoor seating area). For best results, position the unit 1–2 metres above ground level and away from competing light sources.

3. Mount or Place the Unit
Use the included ground spike to secure the unit into soil or grass, or hang it using the built-in loop/hook. Ensure the solar panel is angled towards maximum sunlight exposure.

4. Charge Automatically During Daylight
The built-in solar panel absorbs sunlight throughout the day and stores energy in the internal battery. No cords or charging required—completely self-sufficient.

5. Automatic Activation at Dusk
At nightfall, the UV light turns on automatically and begins attracting insects. As bugs approach the light, they are eliminated on contact with the high-voltage grid.
